This product protects all types of natural and artificial stone making the surface resistant to water, oils, and grease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s ideal for use on honed, tough cut, and polished surfaces, making it highly versatile. For less absorbent surfaces, it covers 5-10m2 per litre. It helps insulate these tiles from water, dirt, oil, grease, limescale and other household contaminants.<br><br>To apply this product, ensure that the tile surface is clean and dry. If you are going to wet cut any tiles, protect them with at least one coat of LTP Crackle Glaze Protector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"244\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ltp-crackle-glaze-protector.jpg\" alt=\"ltp crackle glaze protector and tile sealer\" class=\"wp-image-40761\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ltp-crackle-glaze-protector.jpg 244w, https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ltp-crackle-glaze-protector-209x300.jpg 209w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 244px) 100vw, 244px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the tiles are laid but not grouted, apply at least one coat of <strong>LTP Crackle Glaze Protector <\/strong>with a sponge or soft cloth. Buff immediately into the surface using a buffing cloth. <strong>Do this until you remove all the excess<\/strong>. Leave it for a minimum of two hours before grouting with normal grouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When using a <strong>coloured grout<\/strong> apply at least another three coats of this sealer and do not buff off any excess. Wait at least two hours in between each coat. Once that\u2019s done and the tile is installed, you can <strong>grout in the joints<\/strong> and remove the excess immediately.<br><br>You should leave the grout to cure and harden, then use the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ltp-online.co.uk\/prod\/ltp-grout-stain-remover\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">LTP Grout Stain Remover<\/a><\/strong> and black coarse pad to remove the residual grout and sealer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ltp-grout-stain-remover.jpg\" alt=\"ltp grout stain remover\" class=\"wp-image-40769\" style=\"width:469px;height:469px\" width=\"469\" height=\"469\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ltp-grout-stain-remover.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ltp-grout-stain-remover-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ltp-grout-stain-remover-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 469px) 100vw, 469px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sealing Cementitious Grout<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Grout can often bear the brunt of grime and dirt build-up over the course of a <strong>tile installation<\/strong>, especially if it happens to be white grout. <strong>Cementitious grout is porous<\/strong> (although not to a degree that will allow water damage) and as such, is susceptible to stain absorption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend sealing cementitious grout where applicable with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.screwfix.com\/p\/zep-grout-sealer-500ml\/913hk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>ZEP grout sealer<\/strong>.<\/a> This product is an easy to apply, spray-on formula which forms a tough water and stain resistant coating for tiles and grout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Zep-Grout-Sealer.png\" alt=\"Zep Grout Sealer\" class=\"wp-image-40745\" style=\"width:302px;height:453px\" width=\"302\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Zep-Grout-Sealer.png 400w, https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Zep-Grout-Sealer-200x300.png 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 302px) 100vw, 302px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you know how to use tile sealer and how to protect your tiles.
