Within its family of tile fixing tools and equipment RUBI has a range of spades with different types of handles and shapes.

RUBI spade handles are made of eucalyptus wood, because of its high durability and resistance, especially to deformation caused by moisture. Different types of RUBI spade handle grips respond to different market needs.

The RUBI spade range is completed with two spade models: point-tipped and square, made of hardened steel, very tough and resistant to wear and tear.

The point-tipped spade has a curved shape with a small blade at the end, to well cut into the ground. This pointed tip also serves to better penetrate grass or in heavily compacted soil. It is better for breaking up the ground, rather than collecting it, because the curved shape does not allow the material to enter at the side, unless when digging and, by pushing the handle down, collecting the excavated material.

The square spade, much more common, is used by building workers to make mixtures of different mortars. Good for soft ground such as sand or mud, as it collects a lot of material. They are no use to drive down because they do not have rests to support the feet, and they are a semi-angled shape.

It is important to stress, as with all products from the catalogue at the time of manufacture of the full range of tools, that we maintain a great respect for the environment. All our products and tools in this range have little negative impact on the environment and are largely recyclable.

At RUBI we know how people work in every country in the world, we know the demands of ceramic tile fixers and have knowledge of all materials used for installations and repairs. For these reasons RUBI is a recognized brand and clearly focused on building professionals in such a demanding industry.
