Before you start, make sure to rip up the old tile inside your shower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll also need to know the position of your shower drain and the connecting pipes. <strong>Plan your tile layout before starting and know where you&#8217;re going to put the shower doors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting Started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove the top half of your shower&#8217;s drain and plug it with a towel or rag. This will stop debris from clogging the pipes. Next, <strong>mix the mortar using our tile mortar mixer and pack it into your shower.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Level the first layer using a straight edge.<\/strong> Place your straight edge along the wall with the opposite end close to the drain.
