The most <strong>common formats today include 60\u00d760, 60\u00d7120, 30\u00d7120,<\/strong> <strong>120\u00d7120, and 75\u00d7150 cm<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advantages of Large-Format Ceramic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the advantages of large-format ceramic, we highlight the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They provide a greater sense of <strong>spaciousness<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They create a feeling of <strong>continuity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They offer a variety of <strong>applications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, while it\u2019s true that installing each piece requires more time and effort, you cover more surface area with each piece, and the number of tiles installed is reduced. Use a trowel with teeth appropriate to the size of the tile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tip 3:<\/strong> It\u2019s highly recommended to use<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rubi.com\/us\/product\/slab-trans-heavy-duty-n\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">suction cups<\/a><\/strong>, not only to place the ceramic tiles more comfortably but also to adjust their position and check the adhesion of the ceramic adhesive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tip 4:<\/strong> To ensure a perfectly flat surface and avoid the dreaded &#8220;lips or unevenness,&#8221; a <strong>leveling system between tiles should be used<\/strong> to prevent movement during curing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tip 5:<\/strong> The installation joint is more important than ever, so<strong> spacers and \u201cT\u201d pieces should be used.<\/strong> This allows you to account for small dimensional variations that some tiles may have. Additionally, this promotes curing through the joints. Using leveling systems does not eliminate the need for spacers and \u201cT\u201d pieces as separators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tip 6:<\/strong> When it comes to cutting, large-format ceramic can be cut with both<strong> manual and electric cutters.<\/strong> However, it\u2019s essential to ensure that the tools used are suitable for large-format tiles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned earlier, the growing popularity of large-format ceramic is mainly due to its significant advantages.
